Ruby and her brother Miles are based in Burlington, Ontario’s The Den Doggy Daycare when it comes to making friends. The German Shorthaired Pointer is anything but restful.
When Ruby is with other dogs She’ll show love the way she knows how. by giving them the pets they deserve
Alanah Lorraine first noticed Ruby’s strange behavior, who took her dog Lexy into the care a few months ago. Lorraine tells The Dodo, “He does that every time he comes in.” Attention!”
Ruby won’t let her paw rest on herself when daycare. Her canine friends were often baffled by her soft strokes, but they held on. They seem to understand that this is just Ruby’s way of saying “hello.”
Lorraine explains, “Most dogs don’t get annoyed with it and just go with it.”
Lorraine began photographing Ruby’s paws whenever she caught her doing it. And finally she decided to collect such images. She has uploaded videos to TikTok which have been viewed tens of thousands of times.
Lorraine said “I thought it would be cute. But I never expected it to go viral.”
Biting other dogs is often a sign of submission or an invitation to play, but Ruby seems to be more interested in scratching the pup’s head or back.
