The blacksmith swallow is common in the Sahanas of Su-Saharan Africa. They are named after different metallic sounds. which sounded like the hammerhead of the Ƅlacksмith on anʋil. These birds were territorial and fiercely protective of their nests. which they will live on the ground in the open air
