Five years ago, this sad dog named Cesur lost his owner and best friend. His 79-year-old human, Mehmet Ilhan, died at a hospital in Bursa, Turkey, “because my father was paralyzed. When Mehmet’s corpse came home Cesar will not leave the body anywhere. The dog also led a procession of coffins to the local mosque for the funeral. “No one could touch him until my father was taken to the grave and buried,” Ali said.
Mahmet’s son took him home, but during the five days following the funeral, Cesur still returned to his owner’s grave. “People working in the cemetery said the first thing he did in the morning was to visit my father’s grave,” said Ali. Mehmet’s son learned about it just one day later. He decided to follow the dog.
Every day he would return to the house where he once lived with his owner and fed his young, then would come back and cuddle the gravestone and spend the night there.

“I thought it was a stray dog and tried to help. but every time it came back to the grave I see it there every day. It shows how close the animal is to its owner.”
Ali said he would do anything to comfort the grieving pet: “Cesur has always been an honorable animal,” Ali said. “He will be with me from now on.”
