Dolphins are known for being intelligent, cute, friendly and kind. Many times they are the savior of people in the open sea. And the story of saving poor Turbo from a recent drowning once again proves this animal’s adorable nature.
On Sunday evening in Marco Island, Florida, USA, dog Turbo escaped the door when the door opened. Ms. Cindy Burnett, the dog’s owner, had to search everywhere until 2am, but to no avail.
I’ve driven across this road at least five or six times, yelling the name Turbo on my walk, but still can’t find it,” says Burnett.
No one expected that the poor wandering dog slipped and fell into the canal. This is the waterway through which islanders can return home by boat from the Gulf of Mexico. Because the canal’s bank was too high, Turbo was unable to climb.
Fifteen hours later, Burnett was informed that she had found Turbo with a friend who had saved it. Fortunately for Turbo, the dolphins found the struggling dog in the water for nothing. So they swim around it. They continually stirred the water to signal their neighbors to help.
Seeing this, she immediately called 911 for emergency services. Before long, rescuers arrived to bring Turbo ashore.
After pulling Turbo up, the dolphin quietly disappeared into the water.
Thanks to this clever dolphin and her wife, Audrey, Turbo is reunited with her family. and recover quickly from warmth and medical care. Dog would not dare to go back to the canal for a while. Unless they come back to meet with the benefactor of the dolphin who saved it.
